20km de Bruxelles courus sous forte chaleur, en 1h45m39s. Entre 2009 et 2010 au niveau du temps, mais mon meilleur classement jusqu'à présent. Je suis parti un peu vite (sous 49 min aux 10 km), et j'ai ramé dans la deuxième moitié, mais dans l'ensemble je suis plutôt satisfait, d'autant que je n'ai pas toujours eu le coeur ni la tête à l'entraînement ces dernières semaines. Organisation toujours impeccable, même si pour le prix, on apprécierait un peu plus qu'un Mars à l'arrivée. Voici ma playlist, à la testostérone :

Reprise : cross d'Hannut le 13/02

La vie continue, mais rien ne sera plus jamais comme avant. Reprise du jogging le 06/02 en solitaire, et puis hier 13/02, participation au jogging d'Hannut, course de masse en marge du cross international. Des jambes plus que moyennes pour un modeste 54 min 45 sec sur 10km250, sur un parcours difficile, avec finalement peu de portions vraiment plates. Il faudra du temps pour récupérer une forme correcte. Et j'ai couru sans musique, ce qui n'était pas une bonne idée....

Au passage, j'étrennais un nouveau casque, le tout simple et tout bon marché Philips SHS 3200. Excellente tenue grâce aux clips d'oreilles, très bon son, bonnes basses. 20km de Bruxelles : c'est fait !

Voilà, c'est fait ! 31 mai 2009, les 20km de Bruxelles ! plus de 27000 participants, temps magnifique, un peu trop chaud peut-être, mais une ambiance, une organisation et une expérience formidables. Pour une première participation, à 46 ans, j'ai mis 1h49m15s, autour de la 8200ème place. Plutôt content. J'étais bien parti (51 min aux 10km), j'ai eu un peu de mal entre le 14ème et le 16ème. Un petit regret : au dernier moment, j'ai décidé de courir sans mon ipod, pour être "plus concentré" sur la course elle-même. C'était une erreur, je pense. En tout cas, je suis bien décidé à le refaire l'an prochain ! Bien content aussi d'avoir couru sous les couleurs d'ATD-Quart Monde.

The Cure en concert à Anvers, le 14.03.2008

J'ai été voir The Cure à Anvers avec mes deux grandes filles. Ça ne nous rajeunit pas, mais c'était vraiment vraiment bien ! Malgré quelques bons kilos de trop, le Robert Smith a toujours la pêche et la foi, on sentait beaucoup de plaisir d'être là. Le line-up est d'ailleurs proche de la formation originelle, avec Simon Gallup à la basse et Porl Thompson à la guitare. Le concert a duré plus de trois heures, c'est dire. Niveau répertoire, une bonne partie best of (tous les tubes à l'une ou l'autre exception près, étant donné sans doute qu'il n'y a plus de clavier dans le groupe actuel), d'autres morceaux moins connus et quelques inédits, du futur nouvel album. La salle était comble et a ravie ! C'est tout de même un groupe dont la musique survit très bien au temps qui passe (v'là que je philosophe maintenant ....), mieux que beaucoup d'autres labellisés 80's. J'avais peur d'être déçu, mais bien au contraire, c'était un sacré bon moment.

Into the wild

Bouleversant ! C'est le mot qui vient spontanément à l'esprit quand on repense à ce film, enfin vu ce 08 mars. Réalisé par Sean Penn, il raconte l'histoire vraie d'Alexander, jeune américain qui a apparemment "tout pour être heureux" (il plait à tout le monde, c'est un brillant étudiant, il vient d'une famille aisée, ...) et qui pourtant, à peine diplômé, décide de tout larguer pour vivre au plus près de la nature, Into the wild, en Alaska. Le récit se construit admirablement, de flash-backs en rencontres, et nous éclaire peu à peu sur les blessures passées et les motivations réelles d'Alexander. En route, il va croiser de beaux personnages atypiques, eux aussi parfois en proie à des blessures mal cicatrisées, mais toujours avec une soif de vivre intacte. Il va cheminer à la rencontre de la nature, mais peut-être surtout de lui-même.

La photographie est de toute beauté, Sean Penn filme les paysages extraordinaires avec lyrisme, et ce qui aurait pu gâcher un peu le propos, lui confère au contraire une force encore plus grande. La musique est magistrale, avec notamment des chansons inédites d'Eddie Vedder (certainement une des voix les plus émouvantes actuellement, en particulier sur les tempos plus lents, qu'il ne fréquente pas si souvent avec Pearl Jam).

Bref, c'est un film marquant, qui reste longtemps dans la tête, qui fait réfléchir. Un futur film-culte. Le plus beau que j'aie vu depuis, mettons, Babel.

Le Théâtre Royal de Namur est très beau, avec ses balcons, ses loges et ses sièges de velours, mais ce n'est pas à proprement parler une salle de rock. Pourtant hier soir, Hooverphonic y a mis le feu comme rarement. Les cinq musiciens (Alex Callier et Raymond Geerts + trois excellents renforts) et la jolie Geike, (la plus belle voix de Belgique !), ont donné un concert intense devant un public enthousiaste (très !). Le dernier album (The President of the LSD Golf Club) est passé en revue, avec mention aux tubesques 50 Watt et Expédition Impossible, et les tubes principaux d'une carrière déjà riche (Mad about you, Jackie Cane, Eden, The world is mine, ...) sont réarrangés de manière plus organique, plus brute. La salle décolle très vite et l'ambiance monte d'un cran à chaque chanson, il y a une sorte de communion avec le groupe, comme on n'en voit que dans les "petites salles". Alex doit souvent attendre le retour au calme avant de parler entre les morceaux. "On devrait peut-être enregistrer un DVD ici", dira-t-il. Très vite, la salle bouillonne, tout le monde est debout ou presque. Pour Alex, ce concert est nettement le meilleur de leur tournée (19 dates en 29 jours). Je le crois volontiers. On les reverra au "Verdur-Rock" à la citadelle de Namur, fin juin.

Je n'ai pas acheté tous ces CD's, je ne les ai pas non plus téléchargés illégalement, mais je les tous écoutés. Ceux que je n'ai pas achetés, je les ai loués à la Médiathèque de la communauté française de Belgique. Je suis membre depuis l'âge de 15 ans, cela fera donc bientôt 30 ans que je m'y rends quasi chaque semaine. Au moment où l'institution connaît quelques difficultés (concrètement une réduction du personnel due à une baisse relative de la fréquentation, due entre autres au téléchargement illégal), je voudrais modestement souligner son importance et son rôle salutaire. Qu'est-ce que j'ai fait, vu, aimé en 2007 ?

Des vacances :

un week-end en Normandie en mai avec mon amoureuse, tout près de Dieppe.

Juillet : une semaine en Provence, à Rasteau, village de vignoble, non loin de Vaison-la-Romaine, d'Avignon et du Ventoux. Beau gîte isolé au milieu des vignes, en pleine nature.

un week-end en Alsace en octobre avec mon amoureuse et des amis. Centre-Alsace, à peu près à mi-chemin entre Strasbourg et Colmar. Temps un peu couvert mais pas de pluie, détente, bonnes tables ...

Des concerts :

- Ozark Henry à Forest-National-Bruxelles, le 03 février

- The Waterboys à l'Ancienne Belgique de Bruxelles, le 13 mars. S'il n'y a qu'un groupe intègre dans le monde du rock, ce sont les Waterboys !!!

- Olivia Ruiz au Cirque Royal de Bruxelles, le 07 mai. Pétillante, très drôle, elle est sur scène chez elle !

- Zazie à Forest-National-Bruxelles, le 09 juin.

- une journée à Rock-Werchter avec les Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, les Queens of the Stone Age, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys et Pearl Jam

- Manu Chao à Esperanzah (Floreffe - B), le 06 août - "the right man at the right place", une ambiance incroyable !

- Arcade Fire à Forest-National-Bruxelles, le 02 novembre. "La meilleure chose qui soit arrivée au rock ces trois dernières années", pour reprendre une phrase lue dans Le Soir. Et c'est vrai qu'à leurs deux albums brillantissimes, Arcade Fire ajoute des prestations scéniques brillantes, énergiques avec le petit grain de folie.

Des spectacles :

- Sinfonia Eroica au Théâtre Royal de Namur (du ballet, au début pour faire plaisir à ma femme, mais j'ai bien aimé)

- l'Emmerdeur, au Théâtre Royal de Namur. Reprise fidèle du classique de Francis Veber.

- McBeth, à Huy, dans un théâtre Elisabéthain magnifiquement reconstitué

- l'expo British Vision, à Gand, avec ma grande fille étudiante en lettres germaniques. Deux siècles d'art britannique sont exposés avec des grands noms comme Turner, Bacon, ... Je suis loin d'être spécialiste, mais c'était une superbe exposition.

Des soirées mémorables :

- les 20 ans de l'entreprise où je travaille

- des fêtes de Wallonie d'anthologie (allez, j'exagère un peu)

- une soirée de "vieux" amis de jeunesse, jusqu'au petit matin

Et aussi :

Les matches de foot du vendredi avec mon équipe de vétérans, les petits restos en tête-à-tête, en famille ou avec des amis, le jogging du dimanche matin, pas mal de nouveaux bons disques, ...
